EXTECH’s work at Otterbein University featured in Retrofit Magazine

The September/October 2017 issue of Retrofit Magazine profiles the retrofit of Otterbein University's STEAM Innovation Center, and how EXTECH's LIGHTWALL 3000 was used to create the glass, polycarbonate, and metal geometric facade the project architect envisioned.

The profile details the ambitious purpose of the university's new education building, and how the LIGHTWALL 3000 was able to properly accommodate all three materials into one curtainwall system. It also discusses how a new mullion engineered by EXTECH "flushed out" the interior surface of the system, allowing it to span up to 8 feet between vertical mullions, doubling typical span lengths by 4-5 feet.

You can find Retrofit's profile of this EXTECH project in the digital edition of their September/October 2017 issue. To learn more about our work for Otterbein University, you can read our case study, review the LIGHTWALL 3000's product page, or contact us.
