Studio Gang design utilizing EXTECH’s LIGHTWALL 3440 featured in Architectural Record

EXTECH project featured in AR

Architectural Record’s digital platform this month features a short profile on the Eleanor Boathouse in Chicago, which was designed by Studio Gang architecture firm. The boathouse utilizes EXTECH’s LIGHTWALL 3440 polycarbonate wall system with opalescent glazing, which allows 51% light transmission, compared with nearly 90 percent from a clear window. The opalescent panels help in both lighting the building and reducing its heating demand in winter.
