EXTECH's cellular polycarbonate canopies are impact resistant and inexpensive. Designed for flexibility, the polycarbonate material is lightweight, impact resistant and can be cold curved which makes it an ideal choice for commercial and industrial canopies, pavilions, and walkways. Whether you need one of our standard systems or a custom design, polycarbonate canopies are practical and beautiful. Our canopy products include our SKYSHADE 3100, SKYSHADE 3300, and SKYSHADE 3700. We can customize each system to meet your needs.

At the Grand Rapids, MI airport, HOK Inc. wanted a canopy over the entry passenger loading area. They asked that the outer edge of the canopy be "light" in appearance. EXTECH achieved the light feel with our SKYSHADE 3700 by tapering the rafters and designing a thin extruded aluminum edging that was silicone to the ends of the panels.
This simple commercial canopy over the entry to the school building was an important element in the overall design. EXTECH designed, fabricated, and installed the entire assembly. The green panels are one of the standard colors available with EXTECH's standing seam systems, but our SKYSHADE 3100 (seen here) is available in many translucencies and colors.

The waterfront along the East River and New York Harbor in Brooklyn, NY has been revitalized as a place for recreation and community. To encourage public use, athletic courts for handball, basketball, and soccer were implemented on Pier 2. Easton Architects incorporated a significant amount of the pier's original structure during the design process. They elected to use EXTECH's SKYSHADE 3100 canopy system to shield people from the elements while they enjoyed the pier's amenities.
